  Should some people actually be Witnesses?

  it seems to me like certain people actually benefit from joining the religion.

  primarily i'm thinking of ones with drug problems who are only able to quit because they are working towards baptism.

  another example would be those who are always getting in fights or who have a big ego, and who learn to be pacifistic and humble as a witness.

  Is there a new Date by the Watchtower for the End of System?

  not sure if this topic has being covered recently.. my son asked me a question if the jw's have in the recent months being pushing a new end date to the system?

  he was telling me about how his mother has being on him again about the urgency of the end of this system of things and he needs to do something asap.

  i told him i am not aware of any new dates as i have being away from the cult for over 20 years.

  My Pay No Attention to the Man Behind the Curtain Moment...

  i am physically in and mentally out.

  well i will not be offering a tl/dr version as that would be too difficult and it would also be an oversimplification of how i got to see the man behind the curtain.. my story begins at the 2016 regional convention of jehovah's witnesses.

  How have so many been fooled into thinking and believing it’s acceptable for a child to make a vow to serve Jehovah till the day they die?

  when ….. you need to be 15 to obtain your drivers permit.

  you need to be 16 to obtain your drivers license.

  you need to be 17 to watch a r rated movie (alone without a parent).

  To the best of my limited knowledge, no specific date has been "revealed" yet, but for years I've been saying that 2034 is a good bet. We arrive at that date by adding 1914 - the year that nothing happened - to 120 - the number if years that a cartoon character named No-ah preached to the cavemen about the coming of The Flood, which was closer than the inside of his eyelid.

  I've said this before, and I'll say it again...

  I can REJECT the emblems in the comfort of my living room recliner wearing only my underpants, I don't need to dress up in my Easter Bonnet to go to the Kingdom Hall just so I can reject the emblems while sitting on an uncomfortable "Theocratic" chair while being lectured to about how undeserving I am.
